Last Class
I thought the last presentations went very well. I am a finance major so the presentation on the accounting fraud with Worldcom interested me the most. From what I took, Bernard Ebbers, CEO of Worldcom demanded that his employees show an increase in profits. If they didn't do as he said, he basically threatened to fire his employees. In the end, the firm ended up firing 17,000 employees. Overall I learned a lot of information from this class. I think I have a better understanding of group work and working with other people. I hope to apply these concepts that I learned the remainder of my time here at Shippensburg and also in the career I am pursuing after college.
